The Megh Group

Five decades of getting the colour right

Mahavir, the pioneer name in plastic colouring, started manufacturing ready colour packets in 1975. Backed by the experience and knowledge base built over the years, it ventured into masterbatches as Megh Colour Concentrates in Daman and Megh Polymers in Vasai.

Over the years, constant research has made the Megh Group a leader in the development of a comprehensive range of colours for the plastic industry. Megh combines efficiency with economy to give its customers a reliable performance every time — backed by complete technical support and prompt service.

Quality control

Measured, not estimated

Development of Megh masterbatches is based on careful study and multiple trials — in the laboratory and under the actual processing conditions of the end product — before commercialization.

Our quality process
  • Colour matched on a spectrophotometer with propalette software
  • Thorough shade consistency maintained across batches
  • Raw materials and pigments fully tested prior to usage
  • Trial samples made on a two roll mill from precise formulation
  • Dot matching supplied as moulded plastic chips (swatches)
  • Uniform masterbatch size maintained by vibro screeners
